I offer one-to-one and small group coaching sessions as well as a one-off coaching session aimed at partners (colleagues and friends). To find out more about my services, please click the links below.
Why might you consider one-to-one or small group menopause coaching?
Are you...
experiencing brain fog at work, and wondering how to find your focus?
navigating physical changes and looking for practical, evidence-based ways to help you?
feeling out of step with friends due to early menopause and needing to talk it through?
juggling work, kids, and parents and looking to find calm in the chaos?
stepping back from work or facing an empty nest and needing clear steps to plan your next chapter?
If any of these descriptions sound like you, please let me help. Whether you opt for one-to-one coaching or a small group coaching format depends on your situation and preferences.
One-to-one coaching Menopause reimagined
When we work together one-to-one, I can devote my full attention to you and your unique experience.
-
This personalised approach gives us space to explore what you’re experiencing, your challenges, questions, and life context in a safe and compassionate way. Drawing on my psychology background and experience, I’ll help you make sense of what’s happening and create realistic, evidence-based strategies tailored to your lifestyle.
Group coaching In good company
Do you need menopause support and advice but is the idea of working one-to-one not really you?
-
Would you prefer coaching in a small group with your friends (up to 4 in total) so we can make it more of a shared experience? Or just with your best mate? No problem, I can adapt most of the one-to-one sessions for a small group format.
Knowing you’re not alone as you navigate menopause can be reassuring. I recognise this from personal experience, from my time running the menopause network, and from my own research and writing on women and ageing: peer support rocks for women, especially as we grow older.
Group sessions are more structured to ensure everyone’s voice is heard and time is used effectively. Together, we explore common challenges and practical strategies, while respecting confidentiality and creating a supportive community. If you thrive in a collective setting, group coaching can be a great way to learn, grow, and connect.
Support for partners The partner’s hour: What you need to know
A dedicated session to help partners understand menopause and how best to support you.
-
This session helps you to better understand the broader context of what your partner might be going through and why, from hormonal shifts to everyday challenges, and offers simple, practical ways to support them (and look after yourself) during this time. The aim is to help you feel more informed, confident, and connected. (PS: The content can be adapted for colleagues and friends, too:).
-
When I deliver workplace menopause awareness training sessions in organisations many of the questions I’m asked are from audience members who are not going through menopause themselves, they just know someone who is. They generally want information and advice to help them support partners (or occasionally colleagues or friends). Some of the questions I’m routinely asked include:
“What should I do (or avoid doing!) when my partner’s feeling low, irritable, or overwhelmed?”
“How can I support her without saying the wrong thing?”
“Is what my partner is experiencing normal, or is there something more serious going on?
“My partner is really struggling with menopause symptoms but is scared to say anything to her line manager. Is there anything I can do?”
There are always more questions than I can fully answer in these training sessions.
What topics do we cover in coaching?
The one-to-one and small group coaching sessions I currently offer are: introductory session, understanding menopause, developing healthy eating and exercise habits, managing stress, thriving at work, relationships, mindset, future planning.
If you decide to go ahead, you can book stand-alone one-hour sessions and mix and match these as suits you. Discounts are available for multiple bookings (see pricing below).
The support for partners, colleagues and friends session I offer is: The partner’s hour: What you need to know.
What is menopause coaching and how do I work?
Menopause coaching offers personalised support to help you understand and navigate the emotional, physical, and psychological shifts of perimenopause and menopause. My aim is to provide clarity, evidence-based knowledge, and practical strategies that support your wellbeing and confidence throughout this transition.
More than just symptom support, my coaching is rooted in a pro-age mindset, helping you challenge outdated narratives about ageing, reconnect with yourself, and see midlife as a powerful time of growth and possibility. Whether you’re feeling stuck, low on energy, or simply ready for change, coaching offers the space to reset with clarity, confidence, and renewed purpose.
-
Each one-to-one session is tailored to you so the exact format may differ, but in the first session, you can typically expect:
a check-in to explore how you’re feeling and what’s most on your mind (using pre-session questionnaire)
a closer look at your situation and challenges, so I can understand what’s been working (or not) in the wider context of your life
Clarifying your goals, whether that’s more energy, better sleep, less brain fog, or simply feeling like yourself again. These are just examples. Every woman’s experience is different, and we’ll focus on what matters most to you
a practical, evidence-based action plan for next steps
worksheets, personalised notes, key points we covered, and any action steps we agreed on - because I totally get that it’s hard to remember everything we discuss
-
Group coaching explores similar themes, but with:
a structured format to make space for everyone
peer support and shared experience
guided discussion and practical strategies
clear agreements around confidentiality
-
I do not provide medical advice (but I can help you prepare for conversations with your GP)
I do not provide therapy (though mindset shifts are often part of the process)
I do not provide specialist nutrition or exercise advice (but I do help you to understand and implement the psychology behind developing and maintaining meaningful exercise and eating habits)
it is not a one-size-fits-all approach because you are unique
it is not about “fixing” you but about helping you to understand what is happening to you and to move to a position of thriving
it is not me telling you what to do, it’s about empowering you to choose what works for you
-
I offer a safe, respectful, and inclusive space for all of you who are going through any stage of menopause, regardless of ethnicity, background, sexuality, identity or ability. I welcome and support neurodivergent clients, including those with ADHD and autism, because I recognise that menopause can show up differently for every brain and body. For the partner session, I am happy to work with partners, colleagues or friends.

What are some of the symptoms associated with menopause?
Physical (e.g., hot flushes, joint pain, fatigue)

Menopause coaching is personalised, practical support to help you manage the emotional, physical, and cognitive shifts of perimenopause and menopause. It’s not therapy or medical advice. Instead, it focuses on evidence-based strategies, mindset shifts, and lifestyle adjustments so you can feel more in control, more informed, and more like yourself again.

Coaching is helpful if you want to take an active role in managing your menopause, whether you’re struggling with symptoms, or just want to feel more confident navigating this stage of life. I offer a safe, respectful, and inclusive space for all of you who are going through any stage of menopause, regardless of ethnicity, background, body, identity or ability. I welcome and support neurodivergent clients, including those with ADHD and autism, because I recognise that menopause can show up differently for every brain and body. For the partner session, I am happy to work with partners, colleagues or friends.
-
Coaching can support your experience but doesn’t replace medical advice. I hold a PhD in Psychology, but I’m not a medical doctor or psychotherapist. I always encourage you to speak to your GP about significant health concerns, including mental health.
-
That depends on your needs. Some clients find clarity in just a few sessions, others benefit from longer-term support. We’ll explore the best approach for you in your free discovery call.
-
I am happy to work with you wherever you are based, in the UK or beyond. Sessions are online for convenience, but in-person may be possible in the Crediton or Exeter areas, including the option for ‘walk and talk’ sessions. Just ask.
-
Sessions are payable in advance. If you need to cancel or reschedule please give at least 24 hours’ notice. Cancellations made with less than 24 hours’ notice are non-refundable, except in exceptional circumstances.
-
Therapy addresses mental health; doctors focus on diagnosis and treatment. Coaching bridges the gap, helping you manage symptoms, improve emotional wellbeing, and make confident decisions day to day. I may complement your medical care, but I do not replace it. I am not a medical doctor. Always seek a medical doctor’s advice for issues that relate to menopause diagnosis and clinical treatment. Similarly, I am not a psychotherapist and do not offer that kind of support.
